On October 9, 1983 Timothy Coggin, 23, body was found near a high-tensions powerline in Sunny Side, a town 30 minutes south of Atlanta Ga. He was stabbed to death for dancing with a white woman at a club. One of the suspects stated to a witness that he stabbed Coggins between 28-32 times, however it was later revealed that Coggins was stabbed 17 times, 6 slicing wounds, including several defensive injuries on his arms.
At one point, two of the suspects allegedly tied a chain to Coggins and dragged him down the road behind a truck. Keep in mind this was a 34-year-old case, which broke in October of 2017 with the arrest of four white men and a white woman.

Take a good look at the real sub-humans. All of them are disgusting human beings that went on to live their lives as if Timothy Coggins was a piece of trash. Also, Lamar Bunn formerly worked for the Lamar County Sheriff's Office and is now a part-time officer with the police department in Milner. He has been suspended without pay depending on the outcome of the investigation. This is absolutely stomach turning, and this brings into questions if he handled any cases regarding African Americans that involves arrest being made unjustly.
- Frankie Gebhardt, 59, is charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and concealing a death;
- Bill Moore Sr., 58, is charged with the same;
- Sandra Bunn, 58, is charged with obstruction;
- Lamar Bunn, 32, is charged with obstruction;
- Gregory Huffman, 47, is charged with obstruction and violation of oath of office.
Gebhardt, Moore and Huffman appeared in
court Saturday. A judge denied Gebhardt and Moore bond and set Huffman's
bond at $35,000. The Bunns were released on bond Friday night,
according to a news release.
It's
unclear if Gebhardt and Moore have retained counsel. According to the
sheriff's office, they were not appointed attorneys Saturday. The public
defender's office for the Griffin Judicial Circuit declined to say
whether it was representing any of the suspects, and public defender W.
Allen Adams did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
