GREENSBORO — Despite
national television exposure and more than a million views of her story
on social media, the disappearance of Tyarra Williams remains unsolved.
The
5-foot-5, 120-pound woman with model good looks was dressed in blue
Levis, a black jacket, a pink shirt and a royal blue toboggan when she
walked out of her Stoneybrook Apartments unit on Jan. 7, 2016, and
headed to a friend’s home.
She was 19-years-old at the time.
The phone hasn’t been used since she disappeared.
Greensboro police have begun conducting interviews regarding her disappearance and have determined suspicious circumstances now exist and that foul play may be involved.
Anyone with information is asked to call Greensboro Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.

“I just want to plead to whoever knows
anything to dig deep within their heart and speak up, even if they want
to remain anonymous,” said her mother, Danielle Williams.
“Let’s end this nightmare and bring her home.”
Today, Williams plans to gather with family. Tyarra also has a teenage brother.
“Time
does not make this easier, it makes me miss her even more,” Williams
said. “My heart aches the same today as it did 12 months ago.
“I can only imagine what she may be going through.”
Williams has traced her daughter’s steps many times.
Through
her daughter’s cellphone GPS feature, police have determined that
Tyarra made it to the friend’s apartment, which is in the same complex,
and appeared to be headed home when she disappeared.
