Colin Kaepernick a former San Francisco 49ers star started trending on the web Sunday after a report started circulating saying Colin Kaepernick told a CBS reporter that he would stand for the national anthem if he was offered a spot on an NFL team. Well that was later said to be untrue after Kaepernick went on Twitter to say this below;
His girlfriend Nessa Diab also went on Twitter and said;
The reporter who conducted the interview, Jason Lan Canfora said that Standing for the Anthem wasn't something that he spoke to Colin about. He relayed what had been reported about him standing in the future.
