If you haven't heard by now, on Sunday Erica Garner suffered a heart attack, which was caused by an asthma attack from my understanding. She was admitted to Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn and placed in a medically induced coma. Fast-forward to December 26, Erica was supposed to been weaned out of her medically induced coma, but as of right now it's being reported that she's still in one after doctors broke the news to the family that she suffered major brain damage.
The latest update;
There have recently been reports that Erica is actually brain dead with no chance of recovery, however that is yet to be confirmed.
UPDATE - Erica is not brain dead, but does have limited brain function and remains in critical condition.

I'll be sure to keep everyone up to date and if you have a kind heart please keep Erica and her family in your thoughts and prayers. So far to my knowledge the family is not asking for any financial assistance, just prayers.
