Police Officer Terrence Carraway was shot and killed while responding to
assist three Florence County Sheriff's Office deputies who had been
shot and wounded while serving a sexual assault warrant at a house off
of Vintage Drive.
Another subject in the house opened fire on the deputies as they approached the house, wounding all three. The man then positioned himself in a vantage point in a second-floor window, giving him a view of fire of several hundred yards. Officer Carraway, along with three other Florence police officers, responded to the scene and were attempting to rescue the three wounded deputies when the subject opened fire on them too, shooting all four.

The Root spoke with the family of 52-year-old Florence, SC, police
officer Terrance Carraway, described by Florence Police Chief Allen
Heidler as “the bravest police officer I’ve ever known,” who was killed
Wednesday afternoon after a man opened fire on sheriff’s deputies,
according to the Florence Morning News. (Full disclosure: I’m a close friend of Terrance Carraway’s family).
“Honestly,
we’re still in shock” Carraway’s brother, Daniel Blathers told The
Root. “But we thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes, and are
just staying hopeful for the other officers and their families.”
Terrance was known as “Coach Carroway” to the local community where he
spent time coaching youth sports for decades.

My deepest condolences goes out to the victim and his family and I hope justice is served to the highest level possible; not only for Carraway, but also for all Officers that were shot. Like many have mentioned, I wonder where Blue Lives Matter and All Lives Matter are at? Of course the White suspect was taken into custody alive.
