Erica Garner, whose father is Eric Garner, remains in a coma on Christmas Day after suffering a heart attack family members said. Erica's sister Emerald Snipes wrote on Facebook on Christmas Eve that her sister Erica was in critical condition at Woodhull Hospital in Queens. Her mother Esaw Snipes, told the New York Times that an Asthma attack had triggered the cardiac arrest on Saturday night.

THE LATEST UPDATE
Condition wise, according to Erica's sister Emerald Snipes, she posted on her Facebook page that things weren't looking good on Sunday. Today, she thanked everyone for their support and asked that visitors hold off until Wednesday for right now, which is understandable.
We will continue to keep the Garner/Snipes family in our thoughts and prayers. We certainly hope that Erica pulls through and everyone gives this family the privacy and respect they deserve.
